I’m Pat Outman, and I’m running for the State Representative in Michigan’s 70th House District
how you can help
Public service has never been more important for our community, state and country. Whether it is law enforcement, healthcare, teaching, military service, or elected office, we all serve our community in one capacity or another. Over the last several years I have seen firsthand the positive impact that members of our state legislature can have on our community and state. The earnest service of my father and the difference he has been able to make is what inspired me to campaign for the seat he once held in the Michigan House of Representatives.
The residents of Montcalm and Gratiot County have faced and overcome many challenges in our recent history and now is not the time to reverse course. I want to continue to invest in our infrastructure without burdening Michigander’s with higher taxes. If elected, I will also continue the focus on skilled trades training, fighting the drug crisis, and protecting those who buy auto insurance. The auto insurance reform that was recently passed needs time to take effect. However, we need to hold insurance companies and hospitals accountable to these reforms in order to make sure drivers receive the savings they’ve been promised.
I care deeply about our community. You will always know where I stand on important issues and I will be accessible during this campaign and throughout my time in office. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to learn more.
